A 1,047 SQUARE FOOT 2 STORY ADDITION AND COMPLETE HOUSE REMODEL IN THE RICHMOND DISTRICT OF SAN FRANCISCO
The 2 story addition and complete house remodel of the Edwardian Home in the Richmond District opens the entire Main Floor, bringing much needed light and functionality.
The Kitchen was completely remodeled, creating a large open family area. Existing portions of the formal Living Area and Entry were opened up creating an expansiveness and connecting all 3 levels of the home. Two large stacking patio doors were added, bringing the outdoors in and creating a direct connection to the large landscaped yard. The lower part of the new addition includes a Lower Entry, Workout Room and Guest Bedroom.
The new updated spaces and Architecture blend seamlessly with the existing Architecture.
“We were looking for a San Francisco based Architect familiar with moving projects through the city permit process. We were also looking for an Architect that had the experience and creativity to take on a challenging and expansive project. We found that Architect in Andy. Two years before finding Andy, we had actually started work with another Architect and we weren’t happy with his ideas or design. We are so happy we made the switch.
We felt that Andy was able to listen to our needs and transform our older Edwardian Home into open and light filled space that our growing family can live in for many years to come. We enthusiastically recommend Andy as your Architect and have done so ourselves to friends embarking on their remodeling projects.”
